What To Expect
Redemption Hill Church meets every Sunday at 10am. Our Worship gatherings are an hour and thirty minutes. The gathering includes prayer, worship through song, reading of the Word, preaching of the Word, giving of our tithes and offerings, and Communion.
Reading of the Word
We have a weekly time for the public reading of scripture by a congregational leader.
Music at RHC is band driven, gospel-centered and Christ exalting. We utilize both contemporary and traditional worship songs.
The sermon is usually around 60 minutes in length, and is done expositionally (line by line through a particular book of the Bible). If you don't have a Bible, we have some available that you are welcome to use.
We worship the Lord through the giving of our tithes and offerings either before or after the sermon. During this time the ushers visit each row and pass the collection bags. There is also an offering box located near the back of the gathering area where tithes and offerings can be placed anytime before or after the worship gathering. We also accept online giving through our website. We encourage our members and attenders to give a portion of their time, talent, and treasure to the work of the Lord at RHC.
We take Communion each week as a time of response and rememberance of Jesus' finished work on the cross.
We have nursery for babies to 4 years old and Kids Camp for Kindergarten to 4th grade. Kids have a Bible lesson that includes singing and activities related to the lesson. We take the safety and security of children very seriously.
We have youth ministry on Wednesday nights for grades 7-12 from 6:30PM-8:00PM. The gathering includes worship through singing, prayer, gospel-centered Bible teaching, and small groups.
There is a large parking lot behind our building. We have ushers patrol our parking lot during our worship service on Sunday mornings.
